Stocking Up On Old Favourites

The Bloch ballet flats have been my favourites for years and have already featured on the blog here in 2013 and here in 2015. The prices seem to fluctuate often – I have paid as little as $50 for a pair and as much as $190. When I saw the price drop to $60 per pair earlier this week, I stocked up on a couple of different styles.

My favourite style is the Fonteyn Ballet Flat. After many years unchanged it seems the vamp is now cut a little lower which shows more toe cleavage. I thought the older version was perfect but I’m happy they didn’t go the other way and make the vamp higher as I find that style clunky.

The best feature of these shoes is the comfort factor. I can wear these for a full day straight out of the box without worrying about whether I have compeeds stashed in my handbag. I hope Bloch never discontinue their fashion shoe range as I can see myself buying their ballet flats for years to come!

Y’know I’ve been wearing ballet flats constantly for years and have never thought to check out Bloch! And yet I know they make actual ballet shoes so it makes sense they would be a perfect place to buy ballet flats from! I don’t live in Aus at the moment but whenever I end up moving back I’ll definitely have to track down a Bloch and check them out because I always end up wearing through my ballet flats because I wear them so often.
